Andaz Mayakoba is now Alila
Hyatt opened Alila Mayakoba in February 2026 after transforming Andaz Mayakoba. The resort remains inside Mayakoba, at highway km 298 north of Playa del Carmen. Give us the name on your hotel confirmation when arranging arrival.
Arriving inside Mayakoba
The highway entrance leads into a development with several resorts. Your airport ride is to Alila, not a general drop-off at another Mayakoba hotel. Have your accommodation confirmation ready for the arrival access.
Beach and lagoon areas
Alila separates its accommodation into beach and lagoon settings. The lagoon side focuses on a quieter stay and wellness; the beach area is suited to families. Tell reception your room booking details when you arrive.
Traveling with family
Families can book connecting rooms, and the resort also has a three-bedroom presidential villa. Count every adult and child in your airport reservation, then check luggage space before selecting a vehicle. Request any child seat in advance so we can confirm availability.
Getting around the resort
Alila has bicycles for moving around the property, and El Camaleón golf course is within Mayakoba. Dining at Casa Amate or Alisio Beach Club can be arranged with the hotel. These activities do not require another airport booking.
Arrival before your room is ready
The hotel lists check-in at 3 p.m. and check-out at noon. Ask reception to store your bags if your flight arrives early. Reserve the airport ride for your actual travel dates; any early room access is arranged with the hotel.
