From Cancun Airport to your Playa del Carmen stay

Downtown, Playacar and hotels beyond the center
A hotel near Fifth Avenue, a resort in Playacar and a property outside central Playa del Carmen need different drop-off arrangements. Search for the exact property instead of choosing a nearby hotel as a substitute. For a resort with several sections, check that the name matches your accommodation confirmation.
Staying in an apartment or private home? Send us the name and full address if you cannot find it in the search. We also serve hotels around Mayakoba and along the Riviera Maya. Choose your hotel by name so we can take you to the right entrance.
A first afternoon in Playa del Carmen
Once you have checked in, leave room for a walk along Fifth Avenue, a meal in town or time by the beach. Keep your first afternoon flexible: a relaxed plan is easier to enjoy after a flight than a tightly timed activity immediately after landing.
Parque Fundadores and the nearby ferry area can be part of a walk through central Playa del Carmen. If you are continuing to Cozumel, plan any time in town around your crossing and luggage. If you are staying in Playacar or another resort area, check your hotel's location before arranging an outing to the center.
A private ride, all the way to your hotel
We pick you up at the airport and take you to your accommodation. You do not need a second ride from a bus station or a shared drop-off point. If your hotel is on a pedestrian street, tell us when booking so we can confirm the nearest vehicle access with you.
Choose a private van for your family or friends, a Chevrolet Suburban for our luxury service, or a Premium airport taxi for a smaller party. Passenger and luggage limits are shown with each vehicle. For a larger group or oversized bags, contact us before booking and we will help you choose.
Economy or Premium for your private van?
Both fares include a private van for your party. Premium adds a professional bilingual driver, priority boarding, discount coupons and a courtesy convenience-store stop. It is a useful option if you would like to pick up water or snacks on the way to your hotel.
The table separates one-way and round-trip prices. Choose your hotel and dates to see your total before paying. Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the fare you book; read them before confirming your reservation.
Allow time for the whole arrival
Central Playa del Carmen is roughly 55 km (34 miles) from Cancun Airport. Allow around an hour for the drive as a planning estimate; traffic and your hotel's location can change the journey. Immigration where applicable, baggage collection and meeting your transfer add time before the road journey begins.
Keep the pickup instructions and contact details from your reservation available on your phone. Use the instructions for your booked service when you leave arrivals. If your flight details change, contact us with your reservation reference so we can review the arrangements for your journey.
Connecting with the Cozumel ferry
If you are continuing to Cozumel, choose the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal as your ground-transfer destination. Do not select a hotel on Cozumel to describe a mainland drop-off. The road transfer and ferry crossing are separate services, so plan both parts of the connection.
Check your intended sailing before arranging ground pickup. On return, allow time to leave the ferry and reach the meeting point. For a flight that day, consider the crossing, road journey and your airline's airport arrival requirements.
Arrange your return to Cancun Airport
Choose Round trip to organize both airport journeys. Add the arrival and return dates, confirm your accommodation and keep the return details with your reservation.
If you only need the ride to the airport, choose Departure and start with your hotel as the origin. Share the flight and pickup information requested during booking. If you change hotels during the holiday, contact us to check the correct departure location and any effect on your reservation.
