Playa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres are different destinations: an island holiday involves a separate crossing, while a Playa Mujeres hotel is reached on the mainland. Check the full accommodation name before starting your search, particularly if your confirmation also mentions Isla Mujeres municipality.

Check spelling and any resort qualifier against your accommodation confirmation. If a renamed property or a particular section is difficult to find, contact us with the full name and address. Selecting another hotel as a placeholder can leave your transfer associated with the wrong arrival point.
Playa Mujeres and Costa Mujeres need distinct selections
Playa Mujeres and Costa Mujeres share Cancun's northern coastline, but your hotel's location determines the route. Riu Dunamar and Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres are in Costa Mujeres. Choose the name on your hotel confirmation and we will arrange your transfer to that resort.

Beach mornings, golf and evenings at the resort
Playa Mujeres offers a resort-based holiday north of Cancun's busier hotel strip, with beach time and golf as natural ways to shape the day. A morning at the property followed by an unhurried meal works differently from an itinerary built around restaurants and nightlife in the Hotel Zone. Think about which setting you want for each part of the stay.
For golfers, the northern coast's golf setting makes equipment part of the travel plan from the start. For couples or families meeting friends at another resort, arrange the visit around that property's access and your return journey. Nearby on a coastal map does not necessarily mean a simple walk from one reception to another.
Compare transport to the resort entrance
When comparing a private transfer, an airport taxi or a journey involving buses, use the same destination and passenger count. A fare to central Cancun does not cover the same journey as a ride to your Playa Mujeres resort. Check current bus stops and any onward transport needed before treating the bus fare as your total.

The northern approach to your resort
The Playa Mujeres journey continues to a resort community north of Cancun, rather than ending on the Hotel Zone's beachfront boulevard. Hotel addresses in this area use references such as Prolongacion Bonampak and Paseo Mujeres. Recognizing those names on your accommodation confirmation helps distinguish the resort coast from an island terminal or a hotel in central Cancun.
Some properties have controlled access. Excellence describes its Playa Mujeres location as a gated resort community. Keep the lead guest's hotel confirmation handy for the gate. For pickup after an outing, send us the hotel name and meeting point so the driver can reach the correct entrance.
Family holidays, celebrations and luggage
For a family stay, count children among the travelers and allow space for strollers and checked bags. Ask about child seats and their conditions before confirming. For a wedding or celebration, a headcount alone may not describe the transfer: guests on different flights or staying at several resorts can need separate arrangements.
Compare the capacity shown for each vehicle, including luggage. Tell us about golf equipment, mobility aids or unusually large items before choosing. A standard airport transfer covers the booked route; requests for stops, guest collections or a different itinerary should be reviewed as part of the arrangements.
Arrange your departure from Playa Mujeres
Choose Round trip to prepare the airport return with the arrival, or Departure if you only need the resort-to-airport journey. Check the date, flight and pickup information and establish the reception or entrance where your party will meet. Leave time to gather luggage and complete hotel checkout.
For the return, consider the drive from the northern resort coast together with your airline's airport arrival requirements. If you will spend the final night elsewhere, update us before the departure date so the return is based on your actual location rather than the first hotel of your holiday.
