Marina apartment, beach hotel or resort entrance?
A marina-facing apartment and a resort lobby can require different arrival details even when both use Puerto Aventuras in their address. For a rental, ask your host for the building name, street address and any access instructions. Keep a contact for the person who will receive you, particularly if your flight arrives later in the day.

If you have booked a boat trip, get the exact marina, operator and meeting instructions from that provider. Your airport transfer is not a boat connection or an excursion package. Why the final connection matters when comparing a bus
Check the current route and stop with the bus operator before using it as your price comparison. A service that passes the Puerto Aventuras area may still leave a separate journey to a hotel entrance or marina apartment. Account for that connection, all travelers and luggage instead of comparing only the initial ticket.
A pre-booked private ride is useful when you want the airport journey arranged to the actual accommodation. Your party travels together to the booked destination.
