From the airport to your Akumal accommodation
Akumal lies along the Riviera Maya south of Playa del Carmen, between larger resort areas and Tulum. For your arrival, the useful destination is the actual resort entrance or villa address, not simply a point beside the highway. Start with Akumal, then select your hotel by its full name in the suggestions.
A private transfer brings your booked party to that destination together. It is particularly practical when your holiday begins with several suitcases, children or a stay outside the main village. Review your dates and passenger count before choosing a vehicle so the search reflects the journey your group will make.
Secrets Akumal, Akumal Bay and smaller beach hotels
Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya, Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort and Hotel Akumal Caribe are separate properties around the Akumal area. Each has its own arrival arrangements. Select the name shown on your accommodation confirmation rather than a resort with similar wording or another property from the same hotel group.
The beach, village, Half Moon Bay area and outlying accommodations should not be treated as interchangeable drop-offs. For a rented villa, ask the host for the property name, entrance details and complete address. If it is not in the search results, contact us to confirm it before booking instead of selecting the closest available hotel.
Leave time to settle into your hotel
Akumal is associated with its bay, beach and marine life. Let the airport ride lead into a calm first afternoon: check in, put away your luggage and find out where your accommodation provides beach access. A transfer reservation gets you to your booked property; it is not a beach-club booking or a snorkeling arrangement.
If you want to swim or snorkel, check access and conditions with the activity operator. Sightings depend on the animals and sea conditions. Plan that outing separately, with enough time to reach your hotel after the flight.
Compare the full cost of reaching your hotel
When comparing a bus or another public service, check where it actually stops and how you will cover the last part of the trip. A stop associated with Akumal does not automatically mean your resort lobby or villa entrance. Include that onward journey, all passengers and the luggage you are carrying in the comparison.
With a pre-booked private transfer, your destination and vehicle category are part of the reservation. Choose the current price that corresponds to your trip type, then review the available fare and its inclusions. This gives couples and families a clearer comparison than assuming a price quoted per passenger is the cost for the whole party.
Choose the fare and space your group needs
Compare one-way and round-trip fares for your Akumal stay. Choose Luxury for the Suburban experience, or a larger vehicle if your group needs more seats. Once you have chosen the vehicle, compare fare benefits to make your arrival as comfortable as you want.
Count children as passengers and consider strollers, large cases and special equipment before confirming. If a child seat or another arrangement matters to your family, contact us to check availability and the fare conditions. Keep airport and hotel details close at hand
We arrange your Akumal transfer from Cancun International Airport (CUN). If you are flying into Tulum instead, contact us to arrange the correct origin before booking. After landing in Cancun, collect your luggage and follow the meeting instructions in your confirmation.
Save your booking reference, hotel name and our phone numbers. Let us know if your flight changes. Ask us for an estimate to your hotel before booking an activity for arrival day.
Book your return to Cancun Airport
Choose Round trip when you want both journeys arranged together. Enter the arrival and return dates and check that the same accommodation is appropriate for both legs. If you intend to spend the final nights in Tulum or Playa del Carmen, tell us before booking the return from Akumal.
For a return-only transfer, choose Departure and start with your hotel. Confirm the pickup arrangements against the flight date and airport on your ticket. Keep time available for the drive, possible traffic and the airport arrival requirements given by your airline. A change of hotel or flight should be reviewed against your reservation conditions.
