Airport meeting instructions →Occidental Tucancun is at Retorno Kukulcan, around km 13.5 of the Hotel Zone. Use this full hotel name when booking. Occidental Costa Cancun is a different property near km 4.5, and Occidental at Xcaret is south of Playa del Carmen.
The calculated Terminal 3 route is about 18.6 km and 25 minutes without live traffic. This is driving time, not the time from landing to check-in. Collect your luggage first, then follow the airport meeting instructions sent with your reservation.
Older hotel listings may use the name Barcelo Tucancun. The current hotel is Occidental Tucancun. Compare the name and Retorno Kukulcan address on your accommodation confirmation before reserving the ride.
Occidental Tucancun receives families and has Premium Level room categories. Those categories are part of the same hotel, so they do not need another transfer destination. Include children and all luggage in your vehicle choice.
Plaza Kukulcan is close to the hotel on the boulevard. For a short outing, ask reception which pedestrian exit and crossing to use; the beach entrance and vehicle entrance are not interchangeable. Keep the airport pickup at the meeting point in your transfer confirmation.
A round-trip booking keeps arrival and departure under the same transfer reservation. Add the departure flight details and check your return pickup instructions before the last day. Tell us if you change hotels during the stay.
Explore your destination
The Hotel Zone follows a long coastal strip. Plan around your hotel's section of Boulevard Kukulcán instead of assuming every attraction is a short walk away.

You may be able to walk to a nearby restaurant. For a trip across the Hotel Zone, check the route and arrange your return transport. Use designated crossings and save your hotel name and entrance with its kilometer marker.
A sunny day does not guarantee safe swimming. Cancun's Civil Protection advises following lifeguards and beach flags; red means do not enter the water. Choose supervised swimming areas and keep children within reach.
