Airport meeting instructions →The hotel is at Boulevard Kukulcan km 8.5 in Cancun’s Hotel Zone. It is not Dreams Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos or Dreams Playa Mujeres north of the city. Keep Sands in the hotel name when booking your transportation.
The calculated route from Terminal 3 is approximately 23.7 km and 35 minutes without live traffic. Immigration and collecting luggage take separate time. Reserve using the actual flight arrival details so we can organize the airport meeting.
Dreams Sands is within walking distance of local shopping at Punta Cancun. Ask reception for the pedestrian route and use marked crossings on Boulevard Kukulcan. Downtown Cancun is a separate outing, not the shopping area immediately outside the hotel.
The resort has an Explorer’s Club for children and activities for different ages. Include every child in the transfer passenger count and check luggage space. If you are bringing a stroller or need a child seat, contact us before booking.
If your booking is a Preferred Club room at Dreams Sands, the airport destination remains Dreams Sands Cancun. Keep your room confirmation handy for arrival. Hotel club benefits do not change which CAT vehicle or fare you purchase.
Choose round trip for both airport journeys. On the return, we need your departure flight details and the pickup location confirmed in your reservation. Tell us in advance if you move to another Dreams hotel.
Explore your destination
The Hotel Zone follows a long coastal strip. Plan around your hotel's section of Boulevard Kukulcán instead of assuming every attraction is a short walk away.
Arrange your airport arrival →Combine the Museo Maya de Cancún with the adjoining archaeological site of San Miguelito for a cultural outing within the Hotel Zone. Check the INAH visitor page before leaving: museum and archaeological access have their own schedules.
You may be able to walk to a nearby restaurant. For a trip across the Hotel Zone, check the route and arrange your return transport. Use designated crossings and save your hotel name and entrance with its kilometer marker.
A sunny day does not guarantee safe swimming. Cancun's Civil Protection advises following lifeguards and beach flags; red means do not enter the water. Choose supervised swimming areas and keep children within reach.
