The Hotel Zone follows a long coastal strip. Plan around your hotel's section of Boulevard Kukulcán instead of assuming every attraction is a short walk away.
Arrange your airport arrival →Combine the Museo Maya de Cancún with the adjoining archaeological site of San Miguelito for a cultural outing within the Hotel Zone. Check the INAH visitor page before leaving: museum and archaeological access have their own schedules.
You may be able to walk to a nearby restaurant. For a trip across the Hotel Zone, check the route and arrange your return transport. Use designated crossings and save your hotel name and entrance with its kilometer marker.
A sunny day does not guarantee safe swimming. Cancun's Civil Protection advises following lifeguards and beach flags; red means do not enter the water. Choose supervised swimming areas and keep children within reach.
