Airport meeting instructions →The hotel is on Boulevard Kukulcan km 4.5, near the northern entrance to the Hotel Zone. Older references may call it Barcelo Costa Cancun. The current Occidental Costa Cancun name identifies this same beachfront hotel.
The calculated road route from Terminal 3 is about 23 km and 30 minutes without live traffic. This estimate follows the road to Playa Linda; the km 4.5 in the hotel’s address is not its distance from the airport.
Occidental Costa Cancun, Occidental Tucancun and Occidental at Xcaret Destination are separate properties. Xcaret is outside Cancun. Check the hotel name in your room booking before paying for transportation, particularly if a travel package lists only Occidental.
Occidental Costa Cancun has an all-inclusive plan and a children’s club. For the transfer, include every traveler and check the vehicle’s luggage capacity. Contact us ahead of time if you need a child seat or room for a bulky stroller.
Your room confirmation tells you what your accommodation package includes. Look for a separate transportation confirmation if you think a pickup was included. A CAT transfer purchased here is private for your group, with its own airport meeting instructions.
Select round trip to book the return, or departure if you only need the hotel-to-airport ride. Enter the departure flight details during booking. Notify us before pickup if you move to another Occidental or change the return date.

The Hotel Zone follows a long coastal strip. Plan around your hotel's section of Boulevard Kukulcán instead of assuming every attraction is a short walk away.
Arrange your airport arrival →Combine the Museo Maya de Cancún with the adjoining archaeological site of San Miguelito for a cultural outing within the Hotel Zone. Check the INAH visitor page before leaving: museum and archaeological access have their own schedules.
You may be able to walk to a nearby restaurant. For a trip across the Hotel Zone, check the route and arrange your return transport. Use designated crossings and save your hotel name and entrance with its kilometer marker.
A sunny day does not guarantee safe swimming. Cancun's Civil Protection advises following lifeguards and beach flags; red means do not enter the water. Choose supervised swimming areas and keep children within reach.
