Airport meeting instructions →Hotel Riu Cancun is on Boulevard Kukulcan at km 9. It is a separate property from Riu Caribe, Riu Palace Peninsula and Riu Palace Las Americas. Keep Riu Cancun selected on your reservation so your driver takes you to its entrance.
The calculated road journey from Terminal 3 is about 23.2 km and 35 minutes without live traffic. That is driving time, after you finish arrival formalities and collect your bags. Follow the airport meeting instructions in your confirmation.
Riu Cancun now operates as an adults-only resort. Its 24-hour all-inclusive plan includes dining and entertainment at the hotel. If you have an older family booking, confirm the guest policy with RIU before arranging transport for children.
The hotel has direct beach access, an infinity pool and evening shows. Punta Cancun also has restaurants and nightlife nearby. After an outing, return to your own hotel entrance for any scheduled pickup; another Riu has a different meeting point.
Riu Cancun has connecting rooms. Your transport reservation is based on passengers and luggage, not room count. Tell us if members of your group arrive on different flights before arranging a shared pickup for everyone.
Check-in starts at 3 p.m. and check-out is at noon. If your flight is later, ask reception about storing bags. For the airport ride, have your luggage ready at the confirmed pickup point and send us any flight changes.

The Hotel Zone follows a long coastal strip. Plan around your hotel's section of Boulevard Kukulcán instead of assuming every attraction is a short walk away.
Arrange your airport arrival →Combine the Museo Maya de Cancún with the adjoining archaeological site of San Miguelito for a cultural outing within the Hotel Zone. Check the INAH visitor page before leaving: museum and archaeological access have their own schedules.
You may be able to walk to a nearby restaurant. For a trip across the Hotel Zone, check the route and arrange your return transport. Use designated crossings and save your hotel name and entrance with its kilometer marker.
A sunny day does not guarantee safe swimming. Cancun's Civil Protection advises following lifeguards and beach flags; red means do not enter the water. Choose supervised swimming areas and keep children within reach.
