Book the journey to your part of Tulum
Tulum is a destination spread across several areas, not a single hotel district. A room in the center, an apartment in Aldea Zama and a beach hotel can have different access routes. Choose the full accommodation name in the search so your transfer is quoted for the place you have booked, not simply for the word Tulum.
The search starts with Tulum selected. Replace that destination with your exact hotel when it appears in the suggestions. If your apartment or villa is missing, contact us with its complete address and the property name. An accurate destination makes the arrival easier to organize and keeps the price comparison relevant.
Check your airport: Cancun is not Tulum Airport
We arrange this journey from Cancun International Airport (CUN) to your Tulum hotel. Tulum International Airport, Felipe Carrillo Puerto (TQO), is a different airport. If your flight arrives there, contact us before booking so we can help you arrange the right pickup.
Check the airport code before searching, especially if you compared flights to both airports. For an arrival at TQO, ask us to confirm the correct service instead of leaving Cancun Airport as the origin. For your return, check the departure airport again; an outbound and inbound flight do not necessarily use the same airport.
Town, Aldea Zama and the beach hotel zone
Tulum town is useful for restaurants, shops and accommodations around the urban area. Aldea Zama and nearby residential neighborhoods have their own entrances and building names. Hotels on the coast extend along a separate beach corridor. A hotel using Tulum in its name is therefore not necessarily close to the town center.
The town and beach road are different transfer destinations, so your price depends on where you are staying. Choose your hotel by name for the right fare. For a condominium, share the building name, address and entry instructions with us, and check with your host about late arrivals.
Plan the road journey and your first afternoon
The drive from Cancun Airport follows the Riviera Maya corridor toward Tulum. The town is around 118 km from the airport; allow roughly two hours for the drive as an initial planning estimate. Traffic, the final hotel location and access along the beach road can extend the trip. Airport formalities take additional time before you leave.
Keep the first afternoon flexible rather than booking a tightly timed activity just after landing. A private transfer lets your party travel to the booked destination together without arranging a second ride from a town stop. Pack any essentials you want during the journey where they are easy to reach, and discuss a necessary extra stop before confirming.
Compare the total for your trip

If you are also comparing a bus, include the connection from its current stop to your accommodation. This is especially relevant for the beach corridor and residential areas away from the center. For a family or friends sharing a vehicle, compare the complete group cost, luggage arrangements and final drop-off rather than a single bus seat against a whole private van.
Leave the ruins and cenotes for their own outing
The archaeological site at Tulum, the beach and the hotels are different destinations. Booking an airport ride to your hotel does not include a visit to the ruins or admission tickets. If the archaeological entrance is your intended drop-off, tell us exactly what you are planning and arrange any onward journey separately.
The same applies to cenotes, restaurants and activities outside your accommodation. Check current access arrangements with the site or activity operator when planning a visit. A separate day out gives you more freedom than trying to fit sightseeing into the airport journey while carrying luggage and working around your flight arrival.
Choose a vehicle for everyone traveling
Include adults and children when entering your party. Then read the passenger and luggage capacity of the vehicles offered for your search. A stroller, oversized case, surfboard or mobility aid needs consideration beyond the number of people. Contact us before confirming if you need a particular seating arrangement or have equipment that needs extra space.

Arrange the return from the correct hotel
Choose Round trip to enter both travel dates in one search. Your hotel is the arrival destination and the departure point for the return journey. If your holiday includes several accommodations, confirm where you will be staying on the last night before arranging airport pickup.
For a return-only journey, choose Departure and select the hotel as your origin. Keep the pickup confirmation with your flight details and check the departure airport and date. If you change your flight or move between town and the beach, contact us with your reservation reference so the return arrangements can be reviewed.
