Museo Maya and San Miguelito
Visit the museum and the archaeological site on the same outing. San Miguelito’s entrance is through Museo Maya at kilometer 16.5 of Boulevard Kukulcán, within the Hotel Zone. Check INAH’s admission information before going.
A day at Xcaret
Xcaret is south of Playa del Carmen, so plan a separate day for the park if you are staying in Cancun. Its attractions include underground rivers, an aviary and the México Espectacular show. Compare the ticket inclusions before buying, especially meals and transportation. If you stay for the evening show, arrange the return around its finish time.
MUSA, an underwater art museum
MUSA has sculptures beneath the sea. Snorkeling and diving visits have different requirements and routes; choose the activity with the operator before booking. Confirm the departure pier, equipment and what happens if weather prevents the outing. The airport transfer does not include this boat trip.
A beach day close to your hotel
Leave an afternoon free to enjoy the beach rather than spending every day traveling to an activity. Follow the beach flags and lifeguard instructions. If you go to a different beach, agree on a pickup point accessible by car for the return.
