Airport meeting instructions →Viva Azteca is on Paseo Xaman-Ha, block 8, lot 1, within Playacar. The hotel is south of central Playa del Carmen. Your reservation should name Viva Azteca, even if you plan to visit the nearby Viva Maya resort during your stay.
The calculated road route from Cancun Airport Terminal 3 is about 57.8 km and 50 minutes without live traffic. The final part enters Playacar and continues to the hotel. Keep your flight details updated for the airport return.
Room options have one king bed or two queen beds, with a maximum of four guests including children. Count every traveler in your airport reservation as well, and check the vehicle’s luggage capacity if you bring a stroller or extra bags.
The resort lists dining, entertainment and nonmotorized water sports among its activities. Dance and cooking classes give you other plans away from the beach. Ask the hotel for the current activity schedule and any reservation requirements.
Viva Azteca guests can use Viva Maya restaurants and facilities under the hotel’s access conditions. The Renova Spa is at Viva Maya, and treatments are separate from the room plan. Your airport return remains at Viva Azteca unless you arrange a change with us.
The hotel lists check-in at 3 p.m. and check-out at noon. Arrange bags and any later use of facilities with reception. For the return ride, be at the confirmed pickup point with your luggage at the time on your transport confirmation.

Once you have checked in, keep the first outing simple. Downtown Playa is a different experience from the coastal resorts: where you stay determines whether an evening stroll starts at your door or after a drive.
Arrange your airport arrival →If you are already on central Quinta Avenida, you can walk toward Parque Fundadores, browse the shops and stop for dinner along the way. You do not need a taxi for every few blocks. Choose a manageable stretch for your group, wear comfortable shoes and take water; the heat can make a short walk feel longer.
Playacar, Mayakoba and resorts north of town do not all sit beside the pedestrian avenue. Check your hotel's actual entrance before deciding to walk into town. For an evening out, agree on a pickup point on a vehicle-accessible street and save its location before you leave.
The beach and the passenger ferry are different plans. A Cozumel crossing needs its own ticket and a return plan; an airport transfer is not a ferry ticket. For local questions, the municipality lists a tourist-information point at Parque Fundadores. Keep your belongings close in busy areas and check the beach flags before swimming.
