Airport meeting instructions →The resort is in Corasol, north of Playa del Carmen. It is not The Royal Sands in Cancun or Grand Residences in Puerto Morelos. Use The Royal Haciendas as your destination, including when your room confirmation carries the Holiday Inn Club Vacations name.
Your driver heads south toward Playa del Carmen and enters the Corasol community to reach the resort. Keep the airport meeting instructions handy after collecting your luggage. For departure, use the resort pickup point and time on your transportation confirmation.
The Royal Haciendas has all-inclusive packages, while some members stay on a room-only plan. Check the accommodation plan you booked. This reservation is for your private airport vehicle; the room plan does not change where we take you.
The resort has six pools and a children’s club, with suites that can suit different group sizes. Count everyone traveling, including children, when choosing the vehicle. If relatives arrive on separate flights, contact us before combining them in one reservation.
All-inclusive food and drinks at The Royal Haciendas no longer extend to The Royal Cancun or The Royal Sands under the policy that began November 30, 2024. Confirm meal charges and transportation before arranging a day at another property.
The resort lists check-in at 4 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. If your flight and room times leave a gap, ask reception about luggage storage. Keep your airport ride separate from any outing to central Playa del Carmen.

Once you have checked in, keep the first outing simple. Downtown Playa is a different experience from the coastal resorts: where you stay determines whether an evening stroll starts at your door or after a drive.
Arrange your airport arrival →If you are already on central Quinta Avenida, you can walk toward Parque Fundadores, browse the shops and stop for dinner along the way. You do not need a taxi for every few blocks. Choose a manageable stretch for your group, wear comfortable shoes and take water; the heat can make a short walk feel longer.
Playacar, Mayakoba and resorts north of town do not all sit beside the pedestrian avenue. Check your hotel's actual entrance before deciding to walk into town. For an evening out, agree on a pickup point on a vehicle-accessible street and save its location before you leave.
The beach and the passenger ferry are different plans. A Cozumel crossing needs its own ticket and a return plan; an airport transfer is not a ferry ticket. For local questions, the municipality lists a tourist-information point at Parque Fundadores. Keep your belongings close in busy areas and check the beach flags before swimming.
