Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is at km 14.5 of Boulevard Kukulcán, facing the Caribbean in the Hotel Zone. Here is what to do if your flight arrives before check-in, how dinner reservations work and where to go for a short outing from the resort.
Boulevard Kukulcán connects the hotels along Cancun’s beach peninsula. The kilometer number in an address helps you place a restaurant or attraction relative to your hotel. Being in the same Hotel Zone does not necessarily put it within walking distance.
You can visit Maya ruins inside Cancun’s Hotel Zone, see sculptures underwater or spend a full day at Xcaret. Choose according to the time you have and whether you want to get in the water. These outings need quite different plans.
Book your airport ride to the accommodation where you will actually stay: a downtown hotel, a property in Playacar or a resort outside central Playa del Carmen. Once you are near Quinta Avenida, many shops and restaurants fit into the same walk.
